Hello Folks. It was around the year 1943 that I was first introduced to Bowls. It all started between air raids at the local vicarage in South Wimbledon where they had one rink, but, alas, it was at least another forty years later before I got on a bowling green again.
I qualified as a club instructor (coach) and county marker several years ago and I have been privileged to mark the National Under 25’s, and twice for the World Professional Bowls English qualifying rounds.
Whether you bowl short mat, bowl at Elmbridge or both, may I wish all of you good luck and happy bowling.
